Performance Modifications
Building on Mikes 25 years of experience in maintaining and modifying Z cars and Art's extensive experience on the National Autocross Circuit with the SCCA as well as his deep involvement in building his secret project Z car soon to be unveiled. Sunrise Z can now offer the Z enthusiast a full line of racing accessories installed on your car. You can pick and choose from a wide range of possibilities that most Z owners did not know existed. This way we can custom equip your car to your specific driving requirements.
Things to know before talking to us:
What's my Budget? - You must have one and you will need to commit the money before we get started. We will do our part and provide you with the modifications you requested properly installed and on time. We expect to make money on you please don't be offended, I'm a true blood American and love making a buck. Let me assure you though it will be fair and we will do everything possible to keep you informed and aware of expenses and progress. As long as you don't change the plan modifications can be done on budget.
Is my car worth modifying? - Don't laugh you would be surprised at the cars with shiny wheels and rusted out floorboards. In California most Z's are in pretty good shape, but rust repair is always a factor in restorations and modifications also if there are structural problems. If your not sure we can check out your car for you.
Do I want to do it all at once or piecemeal? - There are pros and cons for both but usually it comes down to money. If you want to do it piecemeal we can help you develop a plan of attack so that you aren't throwing money away at useless mod before they are needed.
What level of Performance Modification can I stand? - The more radical you get the worse the ride is. It all depends on what your definition of "FUN" is? You can have the coil overs and the big brakes and total bushing replacement and have a ride just a little stiffer than stock or race stiff or somewhere in between the two. And of course the more radical parts cost more which you knew already.
What Cosmetic Modifications do I want? - Wheels and Tires, Paint, Body Work, Body Kits, Flares, Air Dams, Spoilers, Tinted Windows you can really blow your budget here. Once again there are different levels and we can usually do something within anyone's budget.
